The Kazakhstani leadership has agreed to provide a platform for a meeting "in the Normandy format" about the situation in Ukraine on January 15-16, or at some other time. This was announced by the press service of the President.
"For its part, Kazakhstan is ready to negotiate on 15-16 January 2015, or at another convenient time for the parties," the message of the press service reads, RIA Novosti reports.
As Vestnik Kavkaza previously reported, yesterday President of Ukraine Poroshenko said that the next meeting "in the Normandy format" will be held in Astana on January 15th.
