Iran has condemned Washington’s imposition of new sanctions.
Iran has condemned the new sanctions imposed by the United States, Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Marzieh Afkham said.
"This measure is against the US commitments under the Geneva Joint Plan of Action," she said, adding that the decision was politically motivated.
According Afkham, sanctions are not a constructive tool and can have devastating consequences.
"The new sanctions move raises doubts about Washington's intentions and violates the good will principles," the MFA spokeswoman of Iran is quoted by Trend.
