In his New Year’s address President of Russia Vladimir Putin thanked Russians for cohesion and support for Crimea’s residents. According to him, in 2015 many problems should be solved, but he is sure that the country will succeed in it due to common efforts.
The President thanked Russian citizens for “cohesion and solidarity, for deep feelings of truth, honor, justice, responsibility for the country’s fate, permanent readiness to stand for the interests of Russia, supporting it in days of glory and troubles, achievement of ambitious goals.” One such goal was the Olympic Games in Sochi, according to him.
The President suggested compatriots should say “warmest words to their relatives and friends, say “thank you” to them for understanding and reliability, for patience and care.”
