Today Serbia becomes the chair of the OSCE. Last year Switzerland headed the organization.
According to the head of the Foreign Minister of Serbia, the first event of the organization in 2015 is planned on January 15th. It will be a session of the Permanent Council of the OSCE. The annual summit of the Council of Ministries of the organization will take place in Belgrade on December 3-4, 2015.
The chairman of the OSCE stresses that he pays great attention to the mission for his country, which will have an opportunity “to confirm its unchangeable political positions.”
Settlement of the Ukrainian crisis will be a priority for Serbia. The Foreign Minister believes that a lot of wisdom is needed for a resolution of the conflict. At the same time, it is a chance to show itself as a responsible country, a mediator in a peaceful settlement of the conflict.
