French interior minister Bernard Cazeneuve has said that so far 9 people have been arrested over the terrorist attack on the Charlie Hebdo office. "Nine people have been detained in connection with the attack," RIA Novosti quoted him.
In addition, the minister said that the identity of one of the two attackers has been confirmed: he is 32-year-old Frenchman of Algerian descent Said Kuashi.
"Said Kuashi was identified by police in a photograph as the attacker," Cazeneuve said.
He said this is supported by documents in the name of Said Kuashi that were found in one of the cars.
