Kazakhstani President Nursultan Nazarbayev will meet with German Chancellor Angela Merkel in the near future. They will discuss activation of bilateral economic relations, and the peace efforts in Ukraine in the context of the upcoming meeting of the leaders of Ukraine, Russia, Germany and France in Astana, Akordi reports.
Nazarbayev and Merkel emphasized the need for implementation of the Minsk agreements. They noted constructive dialogue between the two countries and practical realization of the Kazakhstani-German inter-governmental agreement on partnership in the raw, industrial and technological sectors signed in February 2012.
Moreover, the two leaders have discussed expansion of cooperation in the sectors of innovations and investments and preparations for the EXPO-2017 exhibition in Astana.
