French president says terrorism threat remains high

French President Francois Hollande said at the police prefecture of Paris, at a commemoration of the police officers killed by terrorists, that the threat of new terrorist attacks in France and other countries was high, RIA Novosti reports.

 

The police officers received National Orders of the Legion of Honour. Hollande said that they died for the freedom of the French people. Hundreds of thousands of people went out on the streets all over France to share their sorrow and demonstrate commitment to democracy, brotherhood and thankfulness, according to Hollande.
