EU Chief Diplomat Federica Mogherini said at the European Parliament today that the EU diplomacy was following paradigms of the 20th century sometimes. She noted that the diplomacy had new instruments, such as digital diplomacy, but old paradigms in relations with other countries, organizations and regions remained, TASS reports.
The EU needed to develop new cultural institutes within its institutions to improve perception of developments inside and outside the Union.
