State Duma Speaker Sergei Naryshkin sees attempts to isolate Russia in the absence of representatives of the United States and the European Union at the Gaidar Forum held in Moscow and recalls that such efforts are doomed to failure.
"Unfortunately, the current Gaidar Forum could not be visited by a number of our colleagues from the US Government and the European Union," the speaker said, his words are quoted by the website of the faction United Russia. "This, as you know, a manifestation of the policy of attempts to isolate Russia, applying politics to participants of the event. Attempts, of course, that from a legal point of view are useless and doomed to failure from the outset."
