Tehran is expecting Sergei Shoigu to visit for negotiations
Iran is waiting for the head of the Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu to arrive on Monday, January 19, to hold talks with Iranian Defense Minister Hossein Dehghani.
"According to our information, the Minister will travel to Iran on Sunday evening. This means that the talks with his Iranian counterpart and Iranian Defense Minister will be held on Monday," RIA Novosti quotes the press service of Iran's embassy in Moscow.
Official confirmation of this information from the Russian Ministry of Defense has not yet been reported.
