Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said after a meeting with his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Ankara on Thursday that Armenia continued occupying Azerbaijani territories, ignoring four resolutions of the UNSC and was reluctant to make peace, Trend reports.
Aliyev reminded that Turkey was on the side of justice in the conflict. He expressed regret that the OSCE Minsk Group had not achieved any results in the peace process. Aliyev described Armenian military drills on the occupied territories and the Agdam District last year and attacks on Azerbaijani positions in November as provocations. The Nagorno-Karabakh conflict can only be resolved following the principles of territorial integrity, the Azerbaijani leader believes.
