The US plans to send 400 soldiers to train opposition forces in their fight against hitmen of Islamic State (IS), a Pentagon spokesman said today, Reuters reports.
Colonel Steve Warren said that Turkey, Qatar and Saudi Arabia have offered to organize training bases on their territory, Gazeta.ru reports.
It is expected that the training of soldiers will begin this spring.
