At a meeting at the Elysee Palace with US Secretary of State John Kerry, French President Francois Hollande called on American politicians to work together to find the necessary solutions to fight terrorism after the Paris attacks last week.
"The United States underwent a horrible terrorist attack on September 11, 2001. We must work together to find the necessary solutions," said Hollande.
For his part, Kerry said the United States shares the pain of the French people in connection with the attacks, during which 17 people were killed, RIA Novosti reports.
Today a meeting was held between French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius and Secretary Kerry.
