Russian deputy foreign minister wants urgent meeting with contact group for Ukraine

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Grigory Karasin said today that Moscow was insisting on holding an urgent meeting of the contact group for Ukraine, which will affect the ministerial of the Normandy Four, RIA Novosti reports.

 

The contact group should gather to decide measures for realization of the Minsk agreements, a truce, delivery of humanitarian aid and release of prisoners, clarified the diplomat.

 

Karasin emphasized that unresolved problems needed additional work. He proposed a meeting preceding the upcoming talks in Astana.
