The European Union can greatly benefit from Turkey’s membership, the country’s Minister for EU Affairs Volkan Bozkir said.
As distinct from a number of countries that are members of this structure, Turkey’s economy is at a high level. And Turkey is more stable than a number of EU countries,in the opinion of Turkey's Aksam newspaper.
The Minister added that the high-level training of the Turkish army is among the important factors.
Earlier, Bozkir said that the negotiations between Turkey and the EU can’t continue in the format required by the organization. He said at the time that democracy in Turkey is at a higher level than in some European countries.
