The majority of Ukrainian citizens are in favor of a unitary state, President Poroshenko stated.
"Previously, the question of religion, the question of language, has separated my country. Today, Ukraine is united, and we are ready to provide a referendum on any issue, including the question of language, the question of the structure of the state, as well as the single and unitary system of Ukraine, which will be supported as distinct from federalism, which is supported only by about 10%," Interfax quotes him as saying.
According to the Ukrainian president, October's elections to the parliament testify to the course of European integration.
With regard to NATO, according to Poroshenko, the number of supporters of Ukraine joining the organization has exceeded 50%.
