Former Iranian vice-president Mohammad Reza Rahimi has been sentenced to 5 years and 91 days in prison.
Rahimi must return 28.5 billion rials (about $1.1 million) and will be fined 10 billion rials (about $400.000).
Previously a court had sentenced him to 15 years of imprisonment, TASS reports.
Rahimi has reputed links to jailed Iranian businessman Babak Zanjani, the chairman of the Sorinet Group, who is accused of skimming up to $2.7 billion off illegal oil exports.
Mohammad Reza Rahimi served as vice-president from September 2009 to August 2013 during the administration of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
