Iran’s deputy foreign minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi believes that negotiations between Iran’s representatives and US Undersecretary of State Wendy Sherman were constructive.
Various issues including Iran’s uranium enrichment program and sanctions were discussed, the official says. US Secretary of State John Kerry and Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Jawad Zarif met within the framework of the World Economic Forum in Davos.
The next round of negotiations will take place in Istanbul, Turkey, on January 29. The deputy foreign ministers of Iran, the UK, France and Germany will be present.
