Iran intends to "continue to implement the introduction of nuclear technology to develop its peaceful nuclear energy," the President of Iran Hassan Rouhani has stated.
According to him, the dispute over Iran’s peaceful nuclear program is “completely political” " and "needs to be resolved through the political determination and will of the two sides" leading the negotiations on this issue.
"Of course, we have the determination to resolve the issues promptly," agency ISNA cited the President.
Referring to the negotiations between Tehran and the "six" world powers, as well as the attempts by the US Congress to approve a new round of sanctions, the President noted that "the pressures on Iran are quite baseless".
"The sanctions and pressures imposed on Iran are a double-edged sword, which harms both sides," TASS cited Rouhani.
