Azerbaijan's Defense Ministry won't take Armenia's opinion into account

The Azerbaijani Defense Ministry has commented on the statement by Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan that January has become very difficult for the Armenian Armed Forces, who have suffered losses. 

"As the Azerbaijani Armed Forces have the authority to deploy, move and use any military forces in the right direction from the tactical and operational point of view, any comments by Armenia on this issue are quite unacceptable and strongly rejected by us," Novosti-Azerbaijan cited the statement.

"The military and political leadership of Armenia, which still lives with empty dreams and memories, should accept today's reality and the requirements of the decisions and resolutions adopted by international organizations in accordance with the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, and understand that the danger of destruction is waiting for the invaders at every step," the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry warned. 

"Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan’s threatening and irresponsible statements against Azerbaijan are not accidental against the background of the current public protests that have risen to the point of a tense socio-political and social explosion in the neighboring country. The Armenian leadership, which has doomed its people to a miserable condition and has been isolated from international projects because of the occupation of Azerbaijani lands, makes such statements in order to distract Armenians’ attention from internal chaos,” the statement said.
