Israel calls negotiations with Iran erroneous

Israeli Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman said that Tel Aviv was not happy with the attitude of the Group of Six towards the Iranian nuclear program. The minister reminded about negative experience in the North Korean case, RIA Novosti reports.

Lieberman proposed using the Syrian model in Iran: removal of chemical infrastructure and weapons from Syria and their destruction. The diplomat expressed concerns that the Group of Six was fine with keeping uranium in Iran and was only negotiating the number of centrifuges Iran needed.

Lieberman considers this approach to be erroneous.
