Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov has met with the co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group. The OSCE officials expressed concerns about the recent clashes on the Azerbaijani-Armenian contact line that started earlier this year.
The co-chairs urged Azerbaijan to comply with its obligations and Armenia to take measures to reduce tensions, APA reports.
The co-chairs expressed concerns about criticism around the negotiating process, the work of the OSCE co-chairs and monitoring missions. They emphasized the importance of incident-prevention on the frontline.
The co-chairs discussed exchange of information about prisoners and missing persons with the assistance of the IRCC.
The co-chairs will soon meet with Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian, following which they will visit the Nagorno-Karabakh Region.
