Sochi will host a meeting of security council heads, national security advisors, prime ministers and ministers from some 40 countries on October 5-6, RIA Novosti reports.
The delegation headed by the Secretary of the National Security Council of Armenia, Arthur Baghdasaryan, has left for Sochi to participate in the two-day international meeting, the Public Radio of Armenia's website said.
The delegates will discuss ways of meeting existing challenges. In particular, reference will be made to information security, the fight against natural and technical disasters, terrorism, illegal drug trafficking, illegal migration, proliferation of weapons and radioactive materials.
Within the framework of the visit, Baghdasaryan will hold meetings with the heads of the delegations of Russia, India, China, United Arab Emirates, Bulgaria and Austria.
