Mansour Ayrim has become the new consul general of Iran in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. He met with officials of the Araz Free Economic Zone on the Azerbaijani-Iranian border, Trend reports.
Ayrim noted good conditions for development of relations between Iran and Nakhchivan in the economic, commercial, social and cultural sectors.
The consul general reminded that the Azerbaijani and Iranian presidents had met four times in 2014 and encouraged development and expansion of bilateral relations.
Ayrim emphasized that both countries were interested in developing relations.
