The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe has decided to extend its sanctions against the Russian delegation and strip it of the right to vote and be represented in the Assembly’s governing bodies (the Bureau, the Presidential and Standing committees) until April 2015.
The resolution stresses that a revision of the decision could be held during the opening meetings of the April session, "if the Russian Federation demonstrates substantial progress in meeting the PACE demands," TASS cited the document.
