NATO Deputy Secretary General Alexander Vershbow said at a joint press conference with the Georgian president in Tbilisi that Georgia was getting closer to NATO. Vershbow said the decisions made at the summit in Wales had made Georgian efforts to integrate into the Alliance even more focused, Trend reports.
The deputy secretary general emphasized that NATO will do all it can to give Georgia an opportunity to gain membership.
