Russia cannot be broken by sanctions and it will withstand the pressure from the West. This opinion was expressed by Russia's permanent representative to the EU Vladimir Chizhov.
"There is a good Russian expression - do not wait," said Chizhov, commenting on whether Russia can at some point be broken under the pressure of sanctions.
According to the Permanent Representative, sanctions are a problem that the EU has created, not only for Russia, but in many ways for itself."
"And none other than the European Union has to somehow get out of this situation and solve this problem," he is quoted by RIA Novosti.
