Azerbaijani CEC chairman considers any pre-election campaign before
October 15 unacceptable.
The chairman of the Central Electoral Committee of Azerbaijan, Mazahir
Panakhov, expressed his views on the opposition parties’ rally,
scheduled for October 10, reports Trend. According to Panahov, any
pre-election campaign before the 15th of October is to be considered
illegal.

Elections to the Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan are scheduled for November
7th 2010. The previous elections were held in November 2005.
