The new US ambassador to Kazakhstan, George Krol, has arrived in Astana, the press service of the US Embassy in Kazakhstan said.
Krol was sworn in as United States Ambassador to Kazakhstan on January 8 and the ceremony of presentation of credentials to the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev will be held soon.
George Krol has previously served as ambassador to Uzbekistan and as Acting Deputy Assistant Secretary of State in the Bureau of South and Central Asia of the US State Department, Trend reminds.
