The OSCE monitoring mission in Ukraine has confirmed that residential districts of Lugansk were shelled with cluster munitions.
The mission report says that damaged buildings and fences were found during the inspection of the Artemovskiy district, where there are mostly one-storey houses.
Such damage is typical for a cluster bomb explosion, Interfax explains. Parts of a 'Smerch' missile were also found.
The OSCE observers found that the shelling was conducted with this particular weapon from a northwesterly direction.
