Russian President Vladimir Putin has ordered electric trains cancelled in regions to be recommissioned, it was stated at a council in Novo-Ogarevo. The Speaker of the Federation Council, Valentina Matviyenko, noted that the problem was topical in 22 regions, especially in the Tula and Pskov oblasts where all electric trains have been cancelled, RIA Novosti reports.
Vice Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich said that there was a list of cancelled trains and costs of restoring their routes. He assured that the problem will be resolved in a month.
Putin demanded settlement of the problem immediately. The vice prime minister promised to come up with a financial solution in a day.
