France and Germany to present plans for settlement of Ukrainian crisis

 

German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Francois Hollande will visit Moscow on February 6 to present their peace plans for Ukraine. Hollande said that he will visit Kiev with Merkel to make sure the plan would suit both sides of the conflict. The initiatives will be discussed with Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko on Friday.EU Chief Diplomat Federica Mogherini called the French-German mission a necessary mission to settle the crisis.U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry is discussing ceasefire between Kiev and pro-Russian rebels in the east of Ukraine in Kiev. Washington has not decided whether to send military aid to Ukraine or not. Vice President Joe Biden emphasized that the U.S. was not interested in escalation of the conflict.
