Garibashvili participates in the Munich Security Conference

The Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili will participate in the 51st Munich Security Conference.


The head of government will travel to Germany today.


"During the visit, Irakli Garibashvili will meet with US Vice President Joe Biden, US senators, including John McCain, and the executive director of the McCain Institute, Kurt Volker," the press service of the government of Georgia said.


During his visit, Garibashvili will also hold meetings with the Chairman of the National Democratic Institute Madeleine Albright, the State Advisor of China Yang Jiechi, the executive secretary of the Center for a New American Security Richard Fontaine and directors of the KKR Global Institute, Vance Serchuk and Joe Lieberman.

The Georgian delegation, comprised of the Minister of Foreign Affairs Tamar Beruchashvili, the Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee Tedo Japaridze and the head of Governmental Administration Nino Kobakhidze, will leave the Federal Republic of Germany on February 9.
