Georgia will not sign peace treaties with South Ossetia and Abkhazia
"Georgia once again requires the Russian Federation to honor the
ceasefire agreement of the 12th of August, 2008. In a situation where
the agreement is being disregarded, the signing of a non-aggression
treaty is impossible" – Interfax cites Manana Manjgaladze, the
press-secretary of the Georgian president. Georgia believes that the
issue of signing the non-aggression treaty will be raised again by the
representatives of Abkhazia and South Ossetia in the middle of October
during the next discussions in Geneva.
