Georgia and China discuss development of New Silk Route

As part of the Munich Security Conference, a meeting between Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili and State Councillor of the People's Republic of China Yang Jiechi was held. 

The parties discussed questions of extending bilateral collaboration and the prospects of the New Silk Road development. The Chinese side declared it's willingness to take part in the forum dedicated to the New Silk Road, scheduled to take place this autumn in Tbilisi, Trend reports.
