"Normandy Quartet" will meet on 11 February in Minsk

 

The leaders of the "Normandy Quartet" will hold a regular meeting on 11 February in Minsk, a message posted on the website of the President of Ukraine reads."Poroshenko, Francois Hollande, Angela Merkel and Putin have agreed to meet in the Normandy format on Wednesday 11 February in Minsk" RIA Novosti quotes the message.The leaders hope that their actions during the meeting will help to achieve an immediate and unconditional bilateral ceasefire.Earlier, German Chancellor Angela Merkel's representative Steffen Seibert said that the decision to hold the meeting was made in the course of telephone consultations of the heads of State, and the preparation for negotiations will be held tomorrow in Berlin, Interfax reports.
