Today the Foundation for Civil Society Development (FCSD) presented the eighth overall and the first this year performance rating of governors.
The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, took fifth place. The head of the Kaluga region, Anatoly Artamonov, took first position, ousting the constant leader of past ratings, the head of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, Dmitry Kobylkin, to second place.
In the top five were also the head of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, the governor of the Tyumen region, Vladimir Yakushev, as well as the head of the Komi Republic, Vyacheslav Gaiser, sharing fifth place with Kadyrov.
