Over 1,500 soldiers and about 300 units of missile and artillery, military and special equipment have started military drills on 5 training ranges of the Southern Military District of Russia, TASS reports.
Over 6,000 units of ammunition will be used. Soldiers use Uragan volley fire systems, Khrizantema anti-tank systems, 152mm howitzers Akatsiya and MSTA-S, 122mm volley fire Grad and Tornado systems, 120mm mortars Podnos, Konkurs anti-tank missiles, Zoopark-1 radar.
