US State Department spokesperson Jen Psaki said that Washington will watch closely the progress of the meeting of the leaders of the 'Normandy Quartet' in Minsk.
According to her, the United States supports the efforts of German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Francois Hollande, who proposed a peace plan for Ukraine.
"It is impossible to predict what will happen on Wednesday, but we will follow the negotiations closely," Gazeta.ru cited Psaki.
