Yesterday a Russian delegation, headed by the chairman of the CPRF faction Gennady Zyuganov, visited the Heydar Aliyev Center.Zyuganov was informed that the activity of the Heydar Aliyev Center is aimed at a deep study of the statehood philosophy of Azerbaijan's national leader Heydar Aliyev, the ideology of Azerbaijanism and the great leader's heritage.
The Center also carries out projects that serve to popularize and promote the history, language, culture and other national wealth of Azerbaijan in the international arena, support and develop science, education, culture, health, sports, the environment and various sectors of the economy.
It was also noted that the center was built on a design by world-renowned architect Zaha Hadid and it's included in the list of world architecture. The center, which is one of the unique examples of architecture and distinctive for its versatility, has all the conditions for holding official receptions, various international conferences, meetings and other events.
The Heydar Aliyev Museum aroused a great deal of interest. Guests were informed that the museum was opened on the eve of the 90th anniversary of the birth of national leader Heydar Aliyev.
The virtual presentation of the Great Leader’s activities in different periods of his years of power in the sections named 'Life in Pictures', 'Socio-political Life of Azerbaijan', and 'Our Statehood, Heritage and Achievements' are among the things that attracted the students' and teaching staff’s attention. All audio information in these sections is also presented in Azerbaijani and English.
In addition, members of the delegation learned about the exhibition named “The Azerbaijan Pearls: Flow of History”, which reflects the historical and cultural pearls of Azerbaijan, demonstrates unique exhibits reflecting the inexhaustible natural wealth, the long history of the country and its cultural heritage.The exhibition presents ancient types of handicrafts, especially unique examples of the Azerbaijan carpet school, copper products and things preserved since ancient times, Trend reports.
During the visit, the Russian delegation familiarized themselves with the 'Auditorium' hall, then Gennady Zyuganov left a note in the Commemoration Book.
