The Ministerial Advisory Council of the Southern Gas Corridor Project has been established on the instructions of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev. The Ministry of Energy of Azerbaijan informs that the Advisory Board will hold its first meeting on 12 February in Baku.
"The meeting's agenda includes the issues of marketing and project management, the current situation. The meeting will be attended by the heads of the energy departments of Albania, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Greece, Italy and Turkey," abc.az cited the statement.
Among the meeting's participants will be the vice president of the European Commission, representatives of the International Finance Corporation, the European Bank for Reconstruction & Development, the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan, BP Azerbaijan, the consortia TANAP and TAP, and other responsible figures.
