The police and the Federal Security Service killed Yerlan Yusupov, who
was involved in murders of policemen, and arrested two women suspected
of supporting him in a special operation in Makhachkala, RIA Novosti
reports.
The National Counter-Terrorist Committee reported on Tuesday that
Yusupov organized the murder of the head of the inter-district
department against extremism Ramazan Radzhabov and his deputy Omarov
and two civilians in Izberbash on September 28.
The committee believes that Yusupov also had links with a militant
leader Vagapov, who was killed earlier. Yusupov was a Kazakh citizen.
