The Azerbaijani authorities and opposition have had a meeting today and decided to hold the meetings regularly once every two months, according to Ali Gasanov, the head of the section for socio-political affairs of the Azerbaijani Presidential Administration, Trend reports.
In his words, the sides will meet to discuss problems concerning the public, government, political parties and other institutions. All active political parties are welcome to attend.
So far, about 16-20 political parties have taken part in the talks. At the latest meeting, the government and the opposition discussed the formation of the agenda and exchanged opinions on topics for the next session.
