Yevgeny Ivanov, the director of the Consulate Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry, said that Moscow was ready to discuss development of a visa-free regime with the EU. He reminded that Brussels had frozen the negotiation process in March 2014, TASS reports.
Ivanov noted that Russia was in touch with the European Commission to implement the agreements on simplification of the visa regime signed in 2006.
The joint committee for monitoring of the realization of the agreements held its latest session in December 2014.
