The participants in the 'Normandy Quartet' have agreed that if the ceasefire in the south-east of Ukraine really will operate from 00:00 on February 15, it makes sense to conduct telephone consultations in a week and find out how consistently the items of the Minsk Agreement are being implemented, French President Francois Hollande said.
"And if it is necessary, in the coming weeks we could arrange a physical meeting in the 'Normandy format'," he added.
"The European institutions will also play their role, in particular, Mogherini, the High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, and the European Commission President will offer their initiatives," Interfax cited Hollande.
