Georgia’s Saakashvili refuses to become Ukrainian citizen to fight corruption

 

Georgian ex-President Mikheil Saakashvili has refused to become a citizen of Ukraine. He was offered to head the National Anticorruption Bureau of Ukraine on condition of naturalization, Georgia Online reports.Saakashvili plans to continue helping form the Bureau in Ukraine. His team contributed to development of all anticorruption bills. Saakashvili added that his appointment as President Petro Poroshenko’s advisor was ready for signing.
