Former Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili told Ukrainians about what he is going to do in the post of freelance adviser to President Poroshenko. According to Saakashvili, his responsibilities will be primarily to coordinate supplies of weapons to Kiev.
"Now the most important thing is to help Ukraine with arms. Over the next few days I will coordinate this. I am not an employee of a particular department, I am a free politician," he said.
Saakashvili also said that he will get an office in the presidential administration and will travel with instructions in Ukraine and beyond it. He does not intend to receive Ukrainian citizenship, but he assured the viewers of Espresso TV that he would be "the same Ukrainian, like everyone else in this universal battle."
