The Deputy Commander of the Defense Ministry of the breakaway Donetsk People's Republic, Eduard Basurin, said today that the militia does not intend to release Ukrainian soldiers from the "Debaltsevso cauldron", the only option is to surrender.
"They will not be shelled, but they will not be released out of the cauldron. I'm sorry, but why do we have to let them go? We give them a chance to stay alive, and this is the enemy, the real enemy, who came to our land," RIA Novosti quoted him as saying
Basurin noted that the militia would strictly adhere to the ceasefire, but would reserve the right to reply if Kiev violated the agreement.
