Acting Moscow mayor joins United Russia party

The acting mayor of Moscow, Vladimir Resin, has become a member of
Russia"s ruling party United Russia, RIA Novosti reports, citing the
chief of the executive committee of the Moscow regional department of
United Russia party.Resin replaced Yury Luzhkov, who was fired by
Russian President Dmitry Medvedev last week.
