One of the leaders of the Georgian Dream coalition, the chairman of the Committee for the Protection of Human Rights of Parliament, Eka Beselia, claims that the appointment of ex-President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili as the chairman of the International Advisory Board of the reforms in Ukraine "is likely to harm the public interests of Ukraine."
In March 2014 Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili advised "the Government of Ukraine to listen less to the advice of Saakashvili," and recommended to take into account his "biography, radicalism, and where he once brought Georgia."
